Adv. Ran Karmi is a member of the Antitrust and competition department of the firm.
Adv. Karmi advises to Israeli and foreign corporations in subjects of mergers and acquisitions, dominant position, monopolies, restrictive agreements and tender agreements.
Adv. Karmi represents the firm's clients before the Israeli Antitrust Authority (IAA), the Restrictive Trade Practices Tribunal, and all levels of the Israeli general courts in proceedings that raise antitrust and competition matters, as well as in other commercial litigation.
Adv. Karmi joined the firm after working as an associate for over two years at S. Horowitz & Co. law firm in the areas of intellectual property and regulation of intellectual property and dealt with patent law, copyright law, and trademarks.
Adv. Karmi served as a research assistant to Prof. Michal (S.) Gal at the University of Haifa, in the field of Antitrust, and to Prof. Niva Elkin-Koren, in the field of intellectual property at the University of Haifa. During the course of his studies, Adv. Ran Karmi served as the chief defender of the Students' Association, at the University of Haifa, and took part in numerous and diversified academic projects.
